1. From Refa'i the noble, great in resolve
His principles firm in every absolute

2. Door of the Chosen Prophet and his beloved
Master of existence and sole of every merit

3. Treasure of truths, crown of spiritual poles
To him bowed the Arab sheikhs and non-Arabs

4. In the cycle of manifestations his ascent dazzled
The spiritual elite confused by his uniqueness

5. Succor of men, their state from his state
Under his shade the greatest sheltered

6. Following truly his perfect traits
Walking his pleasing morals

7. Lion of Hussein roaring his secret
In his ocean drowned saints' breasts

8. So the ocean was as a drop in his land
And the land a mustard seed particle

9. Help came from our Lord to his side
Wild beasts of the forest humbled at his door

10. No pole but a servant in his doorway
Sublime his station beyond the poles

11. We smelled his traits from their marks
Transmitted legends tell in his chronicles

12. Would you know truly his attributes?
Exalt him, O you, beyond sainthood

13. A sea within the unknown, endless expanse
And guide of the holy helpers' creed

14. A palace of guidance, exalted and sublime
Sight upon the King of Truth honored and sublime

15. Master revered, lofty and supreme
With cloak of the two parents in essence

16. His steps ahead, Hajj pilgrimaged and restrained
How oft from those who sought, hardship he relieved

17. A rain in desolate lands that sufficed
So for men an Alawite mark suffices

18. Fulfilling with embers of his zeal the world aflame
Since his secret through each secret-keeper passed

19. A rain upon the world and all who tread it
With canopy from eternal wellspring

20. So take him as your sheikh upon the path and be satisfied
By his shade from spying eyes conceal

21. And by his cup every illness treat
Counted among the folk in the assembly

22. By Ahmad the fisher pole of saints
Would you gain of his flooding rains life

23. A unique individual clad in asceticism
A help bringing prophetic miracles

24. Whoever visited us became tomorrow
His tablet a guidance-giving light we grasped

25. For our affair a mystery plainly seen tomorrow
In a stand the sincere of intention saved

26. God bless the Messenger and greet
By truths that for the best become a ladder

27. And his family and companions whenever called
The court opened for the masters spiritual
