1. The hearts of the saints have swords
That do more than the deeds of swords

2. They turn the refuge of enemies into fear
And bring safety on the fearful day

3. They penetrate the ranks without horses
And gather the dispersed ranks in battle

4. The lone, flying one passes among them
So he wreaks havoc when he charges by the thousands

5. Our bands, they are the people of glory
The zealous protectors, the black knights

6. Suns shining with knowledge
That were protected from eclipse throughout time

7. The band of the presence of the Sublime Aid
Of Abul Abbās, the kind-hearted one

8. The steadfast, firm ones with enlightenment
The generous, cordial folk

9. A poised one with enduring companionship
And the sky rains down gifts upon him

10. A generous Hāshimī in manner
Upon his plains the clouds of guests gathered

11. He stands for the truth, Ahmadi in creed
When men fall short of standing

12. And he severs the rope of his denier with a divine secret
As he fulfills his promise

13. I wove for him from poetry a garment
I strung with its thread the pearls of phrases

14. And I came with my fervor and the toil of my heart
For the zeal of the noble, affectionate Husseini

15. And I told my resolve the good news—go to him
To the door of the Remover of Difficulties, then circumambulate

16. And rise up—sit happily and safely
But beware of neglecting the circumambulation

17. Indeed, we think little of dangers—we are
For the glory of conquest on the precipices

18. For with his resolve openly the Sublime Aid
We walked above the lightning of the swords
