1. If you are in the door of the Prophet, have no fear,
Though Jinn and men accost you, O friend human and Jinn.

2. And if you are elated in spirit with loving him,
Your time with him in all affairs is intimacy.

3. Draw near to a people who profess his love,
And distance yourself from folk tossed about in error.

4. For the lover of Truth takes refuge with his own,
Without any doubt, and kind knows its own kind.
