1. Under the flapping sail
Are patterns of gentle character

2. If the ailing one smelled it
In the predicament of his malady, he'd be cured

3. And if the most destitute one saw it
Sufficient for every creature

4. It would not be tied to one seeking refuge
Or confident or self-sufficient

5. To God, glorious is His affair
In the secret of the fluttering

6. A gentle meaning stands out
In the folds of those scripts

7. Brought by Muhammad
Lord of the most noble essence

8. He dictated it to his progeny
In a booklet

9. And it overflowed among his followers
With those gifts

10. So if you want to attain it
Then stay with a pure heart

11. For it is veiled
To other than the loyal and faithful

12. The reality of the meaning through it
Is apparent to the equitable

13. God, exalted is His name
Selects whom He wills

14. Submit to the people of selection
Whether you know or do not know

15. For He has protected them
From the eye of every slanderer

16. If you submit to them
At heart without deviation

17. Then you are among their company
In the sphere of subtle kindness
