1. Whoever recites my words
Attains all kinds of knowledge

2. And comes with every art
With the most sublime understandings

3. My verses are composed
Like fixed stars

4. The secret of my poetry is for the virtuous
Guided by the most refined taste

5. Not he who is obsessed with my poetry
Is to be blamed among my men

6. O fortunes of the soul, disappear!
O clouds of victory, stay!
