1. Our beloved's light shines in the universe
Proclaiming happiness from the Abode of the Living

2. Our full moon has risen over the horizons of existence
Adorning the orbits of the stars, most sublime

3. While we are the darkest of secrets in the forest of guidance
Abu Al-Qasim, the Purest, is our Lord

4. We emerged at the surging clouds clamoring
And filled the earth with knowledge, refinement, and gnosis

5. In ecstasy we dissolved, and our being unfolded
The state of the Messenger made us alive

6. We strung the pearls of meaning into necklaces
That bore pearls and coral on the thread

7. A people wore them, their hearts illuminated
As we brought forth privately light and faith

8. If you were to travel all the lands
You would not find a parallel to our meaning

9. None but us hold the door to the Messenger and his kin
In all the expanses of existence

10. Hold fast to us and keep the pact of our covenant
For the rewarder of good in secret is most manifest

11. He established for us a lofty throne and station
Granting proximity through providence to the door

12. We shone as suns atop the Highest Horizon
Revealing of the divine mysteries all hues

13. The decrees aided our enduring fortune
Compiling with sublime marvels our register

14. Else, how could the cups circulate but through our state?
How could the Exalted Mountain emerge but by us?

15. For our Bahá, earthenware descended delicate
And hearts opened for the companions of the heart

16. A gaze snatches a mount from Bilqis in a blink
With it we hint, without the affair of Solomon

17. Our order, descended from Muhammad, guided us
Revelation unlike any imposture or confusion

18. So line up the ranks of lovers by our door
And take in those presences your stance

19. For that which is consequent implies something precedent
Being effect, it points to a cause before it

20. And pay no heed to the envious, leave them be
Though they exceed in wrong and enmity

21. A band preceded them to the Prophet
Razing their structure, the Subduer of affairs

22. Walk our path, comprehend the subtleties we say
Observe the lucid allusions we have traced

23. Stretch out to us an eye in wholesome seeing
To witness in all aspects a clear vision

24. Turn from our rivals, present with our presence
That we may meet in every matter, every time

25. So incline not from us for events any side
For we are founts of the care of our Lord
