1. Quaff your cup, for this is the time, were you to grant freedom.
An open space has appeared from the unseen, were you to realize.

2. And sleep securely, for good fortune serves us.
And we have marked our faces with the light of good fortune.

3. No throng of eminent men in groups sounded
Except we raced to them in life, preceding.

4. And the sea within us burst forth, gushing.
It did not cease to be active in the field of existence.

5. The door has been opened by great comfort
In spite of him who wanted to keep it locked for eternity

6. A hand stretched out, illuminated by its noble deeds.
It collared the necks of the people with circlets.

7. Rely on us, for God has supported us.
And we have split open breasts with insights.

8. From the pulpit of the unseen, the preacher sang our praises.
And our shining star blazed brilliantly.

9. We rose to inherit the wisdom of the Chosen One.
We set out to teach the people of spiritual states noble traits.

10. And we raised up a tumult for this matter.
And we built markets for the science of spiritual taste.

11. The steed of wonders was stirred up by it.
So it was saturated with knowledge and tastes toward us.

12. The spiritual state clothed everyone who was ready
With an exalted state and gave the people of ecstasy burning.

13. The lovers prostrated themselves at our threshold.
No other door found as passionate lovers as this one.

14. Our essence was heated by the arts of spiritual taste
From the world of creation and formation into sweat.

15. The lion fears us in every crisis.
It sees that the powers of the battlefield have recoiled from it.

16. And its fierce heart in the door of our weakest one
Did not cease to flutter in the cries of fear.

17. Through our champion, protection is sought.
If the flood of calamities pressed the earth flat in layers.

18. Master of the helpless, Shaykh of the universe, his secrets
Filled the groups of beloved ones with passions.

19. How many sharp blades emerged from his determination
And snatched fragments from the heart of the enemy!

20. The spirit of sainthood in the cradle of prophecy, from
The secret of the unseen, gave freedom to the fettered one.

21. I inherited from him an inheritance with no contention over it.
It was delineated in the scriptures of tradition as an entitlement.

22. Our hearts were connected in secret and never separated.
They were not decorated like some people’s alliances.

23. No valiant horseman from them provoked us
Except our weak one was equal to him in war.

24. Those gifts, and the Merciful is their granter.
To Him belongs determination, whether to give abundantly or restrict.

25. So rejoice expansively, forever at ease.
Do not fear the occurrences of time restricting you.

26. And if a soul purposes against you in its imagination,
Say, “I have taken a covenant from the Guide.”
