2. The milestones of โUmrah, and the camel was as though
They were wild goats leaping down from the mountain-tops

ููุทูุนู ุงูููุทุง ุตูุฏูุฑูุช ุนููู ุงูุฃูุฌุจุงุจู
3. So my tears flowed abundantly into my cloak
And I hid them beneath my cloak from my companions

4. And Bakr saw the traces of flowing tears
And he said, al-Khattab's father weeps

To halt my company and mount.

When I went beyond the people of my encampment.

8. And she took up her abode in the belly of Mecca,
Where doves were cooing from lofty nests.

9. I shall never forget that morning I met her
At Mina, when she wanted to reproach me and complain.

ูููู ุชูุฑูุฏู ุชูุญูููุชู ููุนูุชุงุจู
10. And how I kept away from her for a month because I feared
For the beloved ones in the battlefield of the foe.

ุญูุฐูุฑู ุงูุนูุฏูููู ุจูุณุงุญูุฉู ุงูุฃูุญุจุงุจู
11. She was the one who said to her neighbors,
Maidens with gazelle-like eyes and soft voices,
ูกูก. ุชูููู ุงูููุชู ูุงููุช ููุฌุงุฑุงุชู ูููุง
ุญูุฑู ุงูุนููููู ูููุงุนูุจู ุฃูุชุฑุงุจู
12. "This Mughira whom we teased, saying,
'O Mughira, pass the time with us, girls'"

ูุบูุฑููู ุงูููุฐู ููููุง ุจููู
ูููุฐู ููุฑูุจูู ุงูุจููุชู ูุง ุฃูุชุฑุงุจู
13. One of the girls with her said, "Walking without a shift or mantle -
I used to think she was unaware of what pleases people of discernment."

14. "This place has become notorious, my dears,
So beware of the words of the slanderous skeptic."
