1. None can boast above Muhammad,
So if you boast of him, I bear witness,

2. You have truly boasted and surpassed all other boasters,
To you belongs the highest, most noble rank.

3. We have pillars that begin
With the honored birth,

4. None has tasted them but the Prophet and his family.
In the land he was immersed in the turbulent sea.

5. Leave this and go to a cheerful gathering
Of what I have spoken and Maʿbad sang,

6. With young men whose palms overflow
With generosity when times are difficult,

7. They pass around a cup of wine
That is sweet to its drinker and the place is joyful.
