The doctor tended to them but could not heal their plight

And his longing brought much sorrow untold

3. For one whose abode is far from reach
And without seeing him, days drag on and on

4. Yearning for a meeting with Hind
While the vast earth contains none other

5. When the radiant sun emerged
From behind the veil, shining its light

6. I recalled desire and passion
That stirs the soul of one enamored

7. Whenever I saw a beautiful maiden
Luxuriously adorned, I wished to behold her

8. And I sought intimacy, for intimacy
Is the cure for the soul, if anything can cure her
