1. If You show mercy to Your fearful remorseful servant
He will attain the abode of intimacy and the finest resort

2. And if You grant him drink from Your cup
Far from the harm that befell him in the past

3. Then how abundant is Your bounty upon the sinner
And Your sublime favors upon the evildoer

4. Having tasted misguidance and burdened with sins
Having returned through Your mighty decree from misery

5. And from circumstances of abandonment so send him tranquility
And adorn him with piety, protection and loyalty

6. Through the one who brought grace upon mankind and jinn
Your beloved, the seal of prophets Muhammad

7. The praiseworthy doer whom the beautiful traits have adorned
And the sea of knowledge, the chosen one, master of all

8. The most superior of creation in worth and weight
The lamp of God's people, their exemplar to perfections

9. From his righteous traditions he has established a path
Upon him, my Lord, send blessings without end

10. None can fully describe his traits though they try
And the cups of favor revolve not by your bounty

11. Upon youths who slept when night had veiled
Resting in the beauty of certainty they placed their cheeks

12. Upon Your lofty door thus You granted them success
And with it a fragrant peace enveloping those

13. Who follow his path particularly the singer's neighbors
My God through them bestow upon Your sinful servant who

14. Supplicated You for constant favor encompassing children
And grant him intimacy, loyalty, piety, and guidance

15. To the finest resort and most beautiful conclusion
And with moral virtue at his life's end

16. That sweetens the meaning with a beautiful conclusion
