ولابسا كلَّ ما يصفو من النِّعَمِ
2. Thanks and praise are linked in you
For the generosity and kindness you have shown people.
٢. والحمد والشكر مقرونان فيك بما
أَوليت في الناسِ من جودٍ ومن كَرم
3. Glory and fortune are found in the counsel you give,
You are protected from the blows of fate.
٣. والعز والسعد في رأيٍ تشير به
وأنت من حادثاتِ الدهر في حَرَمِ
4. When you intend something in your heart,
Good fortune comes before a word is spoken.
٤. إذا همتَ بقصدٍ في الضمير أتَتْ
به السعادةُ قبلَ الأمرِ بالكَلِم
