1. Your joy is never lacking in time
Just as your gratitude never fails from the tongue

2. Finding your happiness in fame
Purifies it from experiential news

3. When you are given good tidings in every sense
You rejoice in it, for time did not originate it

4. For the caliphate to congratulate you when you became
Its guarantor and source of help

5. You are its sharpened, strong sword
Balanced in its beauty and by it you are protected

6. So your view towards its loyalists is a shield
And your resolve against its enemies a spear

7. You are its right hand when it strikes
And you are its wings when it is determined

8. It has relied on you for every matter
As it relied on palms that build

9. You made time submissive for it, and if not for
Your leadership, discord would have persisted

10. So when you direct it towards a purpose
You are quicker than what competes with it in the race

11. Indeed your joy has delighted the nights
As the singing of the poetic lute player delighted them

12. With a light for the caliphate that shone until
It had in every heartbeat an explanation

13. The countries boasted about it gloriously
And the days in the east were infatuated

14. A lineage from one who came with truth until
His honesty was certain to mankind and Jinn

15. The select family of Allah called
When the call to prayer and standing for prayer appeared

16. The nights have strung your virtues
As emerald and pearls were strung

17. The world wanders proudly in your kingdom
As the beautiful wandered proudly in their adornment

18. You have excelled the kings of earth in merit
There is no wonder or infatuation in you

19. You have given politics its two conditions
With what severity and leniency have decreed

20. So there is peace in which wealth is secure
A right hand that ingratitude does not spoil

21. And war that made the hearts of nights tremble
So their most courageous was made a coward by its fear

22. Your fear makes the heroes in it waver
So the simplest thing that passes through them is a spear

23. You have become great, so enemies cannot match you
Your war is not called unjust

24. The ambitious bows to you without fighting
As if the horse has a horse over it

25. As if the land from justice, security
And favor is connected by gardens

26. You truly made them cry with your laughter and showed
Their emaciation with your sharp arrows

27. My hands have really attained what accumulated
Of your endless grace and favors

28. I am not rewarding all my praise
With your gift, rather I say, may I be helped
