1. When you are in the bath house
Be quick to take the scraping-blade and robe

2. For this drives away the gnats when they buzz
And that protects you from the inclemency of winter

3. And take along firewood and a pot
So you can be diligent in heating water

4. Do not expose yourself there, beware
Of chills from the cold air

5. And if I were to invoke against my enemy
The harshest of invocations

6. This bath house would be the utmost
