Carpets fringed with green

And jewels encrusted with dew

10. Gardens of benevolence where light
Is squeeze out like gushing sparks

11. Heavens made of leaves in which
Suns of pearls shine on fruits

12. And soil in it from blessed cows
Whose udders freely flow in the waterways

13. So many a mouth is sweetened by that mouth
Like the taste of honey in grape juice

14. I was intoxicated with passion and purpose
And here I am in recollection in a stupor

15. But the care of old age has blocked my heart
And it is too narrow for little things or grand

16. Oh, the wonder of my joy at night
And my regret at the light of day

17. Tears dropped from my eyelids
Onto spots of gray in my temples

18. These increased for the other’s gain
Until they became seas in oceans

19. A girl who looked at me
Nearly took to flight

Are fragrant with perfume and wine

29. Brides who primp in the splendor of meadows
Strewn over them like petals

30. Alas that my life was lost
And time did not bring it to my sights
