1. Praise be to Allah for an hour
In which I suffered the full moon in its glory

2. Blessed is its auspicious rising
Reading the ripeness in its cheek

3. He brought me close after
I endured what I endured in distance from him

4. Love did not fail to know it or find fault
So it flowed with connection upon its servant

5. And its eyelids promised my company
And all of us remain true to its promise

6. The secret of my days is a day in which
I await in it for its promise
