1. With my own self those boats I steered
First one then the other like horses raced

2. Though once the river's surface empty stayed
Now in the dark of night they're easily swayed

3. Upon them flowers of candles all ablaze
Seem like stars amidst the flowing waves

4. Some flap their wings and others try
To hop like rabbits should an eagle fly
