1. As if the lands of God though vast
Are to the outcast fugitive but a handspan's space
١. كَأَنَّ بِلادَ اللَّهِ وَهيَ عَريضَةٌ
عَلى الخائِفِ المُطرودِ كِفَّةُ حابِلِ
2. To which are brought tidings that every mountain pass
Is vigilant to hurl at him its deadly missile.
٢. يُؤتَّى إِلَيهِ أَنَّ كُلَّ ثَنِيَّةٍ
تَيَمَّمَها تَرمي إِلَيهِ بِقاتِلِ
