1. How generous was his magic with the fragrance of his tomb
I was seized by intense rapture with his left hand
١. كَم جادَ لي سِحرا بِطيبِ مَزاره
فَاخَذت من فَرط الجَوى بِيساره
2. And I began to kiss the line of his cheek
Then he hinted to me with a glance, vexed
٢. وَجَعَلت أَلثم مِنه خط عذاره
فَأشارَ لي بِاللَحظِ وَهُوَ كَظيم
