1. Why am I blamed when I was led astray?
I was left wandering aimlessly in bewilderment.

2. It was not the Samaritan that misguided me,
Nor did I miss an appointed time,

3. Until I say in sorrow:
Oh heart, you have tasted bitterness.

4. That was just his heart,
Which once turned away from guidance.

5. Grant me, I have slipped,
And exceeded the proper limit.

6. For I am from Adam,
Who was a leader of guidance.

7. Yet he disobeyed his Master
When he stretched out his hand to the tree.

8. Then his Master chose him again when
He repented to Him and was guided.
