1. I sent a message on the folds of the breeze,
Perhaps it may visit their dwellings and return.
2. It scented the surroundings of the breeze, as though
It had scattered roses of gardens over it.
3. I waited for an answer but none came,
Yet my letters in the dwellings have roses.
4. I envy them the attainment of wishes,
For while I live, my letters are envious.
5. My fair missives are met with welcome,
Would that my dark ones were met so!
