1. The dew spreads at all times
Like pearls falling in it
١. والطلُّ ينشرُ كلَّ وقتٍ
كيَومِنا لؤلؤاً فيها سَقيطا
2. And the gems of light appear
From its emerald, a mix
٢. وجَواهرُ الأنوارِ تطلِعُ
من زَبَرجَدها خَليطا
3. So when you see the pearls appear
Carnelian with it becomes dependent
٣. فإِذا رَأيتَ الدُرَّ أب
صَرتَ العَقيقَ بِه مَنوطا
4. And the birds compete early
With it and follow the simple
٤. والطيرُ تستبقُ النَّشي
دَ بِها وتَعتقبُ البَسيطا
5. And the sea is modest, it sees
From its generosity the vast ocean
٥. والبَحرُ مُحتَشِمٌ يَرى
مِن جودِها البَحر المُحيطا
6. A state that returns the lazy
To vitality, active
٦. حالٌ تردُّ إلى التَّصا
بي كلَّ كَسلانٍ نَشيطا
