1. People were amazed when they saw
The pillar of Islam turned away
١. تعجَّبَ الناسُ لما أن رَأوا سنَد الإس
لامِ عَن طَرفِ الإسلامِ مُنصَرفا
2. From the path of Islam, so I said
Don't be surprised-who was no pillar
٢. فقلتُ لا تعجَبوا من غير ما عَجَبٍ
مَن لَم يَكُن طَرَفاً لم يألفِ الطَّرفا
