1. The abandoned lover cannot be blamed
Unless you become abandoned too

2. So visit me, even if falsely, you'll find my words
As you know them, falsehoods

3. And do not depend on my youth
In love, being conceited

4. When the fire of determination dies out
And the eye sees no light for it

5. You would deserve to see my she-camel
Carrying skins in her saddlebags

6. And how much separation did she bear
With the tail of yearning being dragged

7. But my patience breaks down
When my heart is filled with you

8. I will chastise the eye with discipline
For what it did, the eye deserves punishment

9. And if some of what happened, your belittling me and disgracing me
Sufficed, that would have been enough

10. Oh companion of the house, all who spend the night
Awaken drunk in it

11. Attach me to fierce she-camels
Yellow, unknowing of shortcoming

12. Four yet five hands adorned
With beauty, stamped and braced

13. Raised with the cup by one of lovely softness
Holding a filled bowl

14. So do not ask me how I came to be
The bearer and the borne, happily

15. And fear not what fate does to me
After I sought victory and found a victorious one

16. And after fortune turned to me
And redoubled the turns

17. And ask the days about their twists and turns
In which of them I came to be confined

18. So hopes are secured in a path
Or source, definitely deviated

19. The stars revealed their worries
And took their mansions as homes

20. Managing the dew and calamity
As if they are the seven directors

21. With kneeling camels, if you let the smoky haze long
Your height would be engulfed

22. Like the sea, you cannot fathom its depths
Even if you roll up your sleeves

23. But this necessitates gratitude in its nearness
And that necessitates magnification

24. Inform Abu Nasr that what
You burdened me with, I carried the load

25. And so I conveyed it trip by trip
Seeking it in thanks, being thanked

26. And compared praise to what
He deserved, so I walked them both

27. Every person who mentions my generosity to me
But through this I became the mentioned one

28. The state of a hand did not change, it remained
Quick in changing states
