1. Do not think I've changed when circumstances altered
And I was forbidden, it was my love that changed me
١. لا تَحسِبُوا صَيداءَ حينَ تَغيَّرَت
وَنُهِيتُ غَيَّرني عَليها النَّاهِي
2. Love was purified when its causes vanished
So I came to love her for the sake of God
٢. خَلَصَ الهَوى لمَّا انقضَت أسبابُهُ
فِيها فصِرتُ أحبُّها في اللَّهِ
