1. O Abu al-Qasim the just, cast off resentment from me
And walk with me on your path

2. And rejoice in reproaching me and leave the world
It chatters aimlessly, and honor is the honor of your friend

3. And censure me however you wish, in verse or prose
Everything from you is sweet like your saliva

4. It's not my scheming, by God, He has granted the fathers
Righteousness, and distinguished me with your disobedience

5. Your secret has not ceased to dwell in my heart
Until you struck with your trumpet
