1. Why does your anxiety not increase
While the night is giving birth

2. Do you see me killing with spears
Like harvest reaps its fruits

3. If that is the case, then live well
No doubt between this and that, good

4. With glances hanging on cheeks
That have darkened them

5. If eyes besiege her
She has no escape from them

6. A glance falls on
What it softened intensely

7. Or do you see in blackness
Whiteness since it appeared in black

8. They show their joy and tenderness
Wanting to conceal their joy

9. A tavern keeper I see
His mouth like a jug's spout

10. With four legs wrongfully standing
Transgressing all limits

11. We visited him feigning pain
Though he knows not what we want

Then return when he is full again

Strange is his master observing us

14. His killer yet not chaining us
But it is blood money we pay

15. Which a unique one compensates
Offspring of creation and hands

16. Every curl stubbornly black
When people defend their money

17. With it he defends himself

18. With every barefoot under garments
Above his platter he inclines

19. And shakes his shoulders as
A rod shakes after being watered

20. Delighted by a cup of wine
Ever seeking more of it

21. His drunkenness he repeats
And repeats it to the cupbearer

22. The murmur of vines
He retrieves like an anthem

23. Such virtues have become
Sole and peerless

24. Promise does not outrun bounty
While threats outpace promise

25. I have stolen myself to you
With verses as witnesses

26. While rhymes may coincide
Coins themselves differ

27. Poetry however long
Its meanings be, verses are few

28. And I advised you when
Crowds filled your dwelling
