For difference calls for the parting of the commingled.

6. How much strange sorrow I carry for the friend of
The strange beauty. I am afflicted by strangers.

7. I have entered into the heart of every dark-eyed one,
If not for the withering of the tawny rose.

8. The blamers cannot deny my uniqueness
Apart from him in passion and devotion.

9. So in what I write to him my call is answered
And I ransom him from all misfortunes.

10. I have made his pillows take refuge in his glance
Until the new moon is protected by the full moon.

11. She turned away her cheeks and stood up without them
Assailing the mouth of the repenter and the eye of the seer.

12. If she sought refuge, she had sought it before
In my father al-Husayn, the chief of chiefs.

13. And he permitted her what he had exclusive joy of
So he allowed her the most difficult things.

14. Arise, look at what he is doing, so look
At what names he deserves for it.

15. He has proceeded on a path of loftiness
Bleak, desolate of friends.

16. He has tied virtues around all corners of his house
For events that happen in the sublime.

17. So glory was tied down and its pillars weakened
Until it is returned to the hands of the builder.

18. His soul rose to administer the kingdoms
So it roused him to the heaviest burdens.

19. The swords in their sheaths
Imprisoned like the decisive judgments.

20. Unless you had attained the ministry as a youth,
You would have grown up administering viziers.

21. In the light of an honored deed and the fire of resolve
That contend with the gloom of darkness.
