1. O you whose clouds of generosity
Pour down heavy rain of bounty,
١. يا مَن سَحائِبُ جُودِه
بالجَودِ هاطِلةُ الغَمامَه
2. And on whose face is a mark
For his swift rescue,
٢. وعَلى صَفيحَةِ وَجههِ
لسَريع نَجدَتِهِ عَلامَه
3. Through you, O noble cub
The lion in the thicket is protected,
٣. بك أيُّها الشِّبلُ المُذي
قُ اللَّيثَ في الهَيجا حِمامَه
4. Through you the horsemen claim descent
From Suleim safely,
٤. بكَ صارتِ الفُرسانُ تُد
عَى من سُلَيمٍ بالسَّلامَه
5. So look upon my state, for my situation
Can no longer tolerate waiting.
٥. فانظُر لحَالي إنَّ حا
لي ليسَ تَحتَملُ الإقامَه
