5. My brother Abu-l Hudathan, he
Was foremost still in pact and fight;

6. You see his face, but cannot see
The pledges that his heart unite.

7. The little that I win I share,
Useless to him my poor supply;

8. Consider ye and plan for me
How best his reinforcements I
