١. كذبَت مُقلَتي فلِم صَدَّقوها
شهدَت في الهَوى شهادَةَ زُورِ
2. Think not their tears are messengers of sadness -
Tears can be messengers of joy as well.
٢. لا تَظُنُّوا دموعَها رُسلَ حُزنٍ
قد تكونُ الدُّموعُ رُسلَ السرورِ
