1. A grief to the stones is Joseph though he passed away
His separation drew tears that pour and stray

2. He who was well versed in the ways of honest trade
Upholding rights, integrity on display

3. Met his death while morality he did embrace
Not for good deeds, but for their sake he lived each day

4. Alas for that virtuous man, such deep remorse
With all my heart, remorse and regret hold sway

5. But with the righteous he dwells, his light does loom
In the garden of heaven shines bright Joseph
