1. A star shone in the cradle of glory and splendor,
The star of Saad guided us with splendor.

We sip the comfort of congratulations and purity,

This is their perfume that wafted to us.

7. Oh, my longing for the home of youth,
Watered by rain and enlivened by youth,

8. And in that neighborhood west of the dunes,
A gazelle who deprived me of intimacy.

9. Ghadah, I desired her while my eyelids shed tears,
And she did not have mercy on a loving and tearful brother,

10. She threw me from her love into flames
When her enchanting glance glanced at me.

11. How many lions and gazelles she hunted, O Saah,
When she blinked her gazelles’ eyes.

12. It’s her right if I complained of passion,
I was astonished by her delicate stature.

13. She burned a heart that was free

14. Do not blame her, it is the way of the beautiful,
No shame in what they see as beautiful.

15. Pour me her memory and fill the cup,
That longing may grow in desolation, the cup,

16. And the talk of love with proven chains
Whoever loves cannot complain of stinginess.

25. Majid became through his generosity a shining
Star at the top of the banner,

26. And a flame that guides the ambitious
With his brilliance from afar we leaned.

27. How many a companion in the fray became a friend
When his son, the heir of the Master Khalil returned me.

28. What a formidable and noble gentleman!
Of our praise he carried the glories without bending.

29. Of generous hands that poured the clouds of dew
Like the blood of enemies on the day of dispute

30. How many spears he broke and felled lions
And clothed the horsemen in robes of glory.

31. He attained righteousness and intellect,
Thus he ascended and narrated his glory, the full moon in the sky

32. And judged over every pride,
While to other than praise we did not incline.

33. You are congratulated, O Bountiful, his grandfather,
With a lad who towered over his grandfather

34. A moon whose cradle the glories prepared
With joy and prosperity we hugged.

35. His magnificent Lord endowed him with glory
To make him prosperous and lauded.

36. May he remain praiseworthy to you and joyful,
A celestial star whose light illuminates the world.

37. May God extend his life which flows to him,
Victorious in every adversary who disputed him,

38. Of helping hand and provision that sustained him
Created to bestow riches upon people.

39. O you who are regarded, close with what you adorned,
Of system in our delight you adorned,

40. With a newborn you recorded,
May he remain prosperous, in fortune and from us.
