1. You have been chosen by justice
And from you glory derives its pride

2. The beauty of your noble traits is innate
Not borrowed finery

3. And your wisdom has become illuminated
So all seek enlightenment from it

4. Your rule is flourishing with bounty
How splendid is its prosperity

5. O you who, when you speak, expresses
A thousand meanings in an expression

6. Indeed, o firm one, if justice is not
Supported by a sword, it loses its triumph

7. You have attained praises, and so they are agreeable
And leadership pertains to your loftiness

8. And you called for noble virtues out of loyalty
So ranks and overseers answered your call

9. Your servant has praised you with verses
That hint at your meanings

10. So accept it with favor and date it
As an excellent transaction for the eminent one of high repute
