So that her eyelashes' magic made them selfless.

5. My heart seeks help from her glance,
As her beauty tortures and captivates my eyes.

6. Radiant are her rosy cheeks - she smiles
Like carnelian with hidden pearls.

7. Black are her tresses, white her neck,
Red her braids - varied hues in them.

8. If she promises love, her "meem" is her smile,
Her "yaa" her allure, her eyebrows the "noon."

9. I approached her and she called to me -
"Beware! The sword of her glance is sharp."

10. Whoever meets her, meets love, O passion's brother -
For desire is a religion.

11. Her free spirit has conquered my liver -
As excellence conquers all merit.

12. That brilliant, lofty sage -
Clarifying and elucidating excellence and glory.

13. My master adorned with etiquette - so I took pride
When adorned by beauty and decoration.

14. A full moon whose outstanding merits shine,
A breast filled with knowledge of the sciences.

15. He recites verses to us, wisdom from his poetry -
Eloquence intertwined with that verse.

16. He melted pearls with the sun of virtue, then came
With eloquent, well-composed words.

17. Generosity flows from his generous palm -
And goodness is guaranteed by his eloquent speech.

18. You have made praise obligatory by your possibilities -
And through them, power and firmness.

19. My master, accept these lines of poetry that came
As poetry is loved by the delicate.

20. An apology sent as a prayer from a brother of passion -
His heart afflicted by the calamities of fate.

21. So be safe and secure, O father of the sublime, O brother of favour -
Your glory and honour are guaranteed and protected.
