1. Yours is the praise in attaining glory and bounty,
O you who is said "yes" to his words,

2. Those two authorities glorified and honored you,
Thus you were among mankind like the unique flag.

3. If people are barren and the weather is withholding,
The generosity of your palms satisfies us over thirst.

4. The God was generous in this era with you all,
That the people of old eras boast.

5. And if the extremist praiser becomes tired praising the ancestors,
But in you are merits above their praise.

6. So whenever an eye looks at you repeatedly,
It sees in the beauty a meaning it did not smell before.

7. You show a smile with what you assume of bounty,
What bounty from the best smiler!

8. Your right hand waters the loved ones with the rain of generosity,
And for the spears from the enemies the rain of blood.

9. Of what he lived, Hatim was not as generous,
So at the mention of you the spread of their mention folds.

10. And whoever takes pleasure in your high lineage anxiously,
If he disputes time and fate, was not decisive.

11. If not for your sword, O lethal one, they would not have tied
The sword, more truthful news than the pen.

12. If the son of Shihab gets lost from the one whose diffusion you lead,
Your bright lineage guides him in the darkness.

13. And if your good tidings, O best of messengers, come to them,
What a possession was your name, good tidings of their winning.

14. For Lebanon when your sole honored its summit,
It became the destination of the nations.

15. And it ruled until it became a win for the hopeful,
But it is preventing with patience what was not thrown.

It rose with your high ambition, proudly,

17. With what you tied for it from the towering pillars.
You made it with the swords of justice protected pasture,

18. Where the wolf and the sheep graze in safety.
You came with victory when you refused from travel,

19. In which you revived the land like pouring heavy rain.
The houses of the religion blossomed illuminated,

20. With you, and you made the birds sing.
The promises of glory in meeting you increase ambitions,

21. For the promise is best, O you of favor and ambition.
Every stand you camped in won,

22. Its meadows, with praise, and the one with determination became honored.
You have become like the revolving star, delighted,

23. And your enemies spend the night in fury and pain.
And you were met by glories while smiling,

24. Touching glory like the insatiate drinker.
No country you visited except that you made

25. It fertile where you stepped in the morning.
If you visited a sea it became fresh for its drinkers,

26. And its sailors won safety and peace.
You have illuminated every region with your shining light,

27. Like the moon illuminating a plain and a flag.
They compared you to the moon foolishly, so it was said to them

28. Where is the moon with a palm so generous?
You walked the coast of Rome so its expanse broadened

29. And wore luxury and affluence.
All the people came rushing to meet you,

30. Between those seeking triumph in you and those seizing opportunity.
And they came cramming, rushing

31. To see you, some announcing to others.
O you who shamed the sea when you came to its coast

32. With a sea of sweet generosity, not agitated.
And you walked secure escorted to a country

33. That became with your glories only welcoming.
Acre, subduer of enemies in war,

34. Sublime, the spheres prideful with glypts.
No country is like it, lofty with glory,

35. Good with fortune, after one with peace.
From its mother while he is mighty and impregnable,

36. He attained ease and honor, better than transient.
It rose with the best vizier who rose judicious,

37. For he is Solomon, the wise of this time.
Merit turned to him in manners and in nature,

38. As justice turned to him in peace and restraint.
It lived prosperously with worries lasting for the truth,

39. Victorious by God, steadfast.

40. Its supremacy shone with wisdom and prided
With him the ministry between Arabs and non-Arabs.

41. He taught people congenial morals with his generosity
And taught fate a loyal nature.

42. Valiant, when its sharp sword rages in war,
It straightens mountains and returns the plain to formations.

43. When he saw you, he was comforted after his anxiety
For Ali, most high and dignified.

44. That one who was a full moon to the elevated ones and fulfilled
So what a moon in the earth’s sky engulfed!

45. If people had immortality or had eternity,
He would have been most deserving of eternity and permanence.

46. Or a lion would have prevented, fighting for him,
The sea of death with unbreakable determination.

47. And from you, our Master, his soul was delighted,
And the master of ministers, sent with greatness.

48. And he admired in you when you showed maxims,
Wherever he sees you, brother of glory, and did not waver.

49. You were ennobled from him with complete gratification,
As you are honorable, O best humble one.

50. And he dressed you in his hands with robes of honor,
Which were honored by wearing and kissing each sleeve.

51. And since you came with confirming the authority,
You brought joy to people’s hearts all together.

52. And they became exchanging prayers in the morning,
To prolong your ascent, the days’ course, and destiny’s path.

53. To you I gift this praise, O you whose rank,
Gifts congratulations, and the good praise of every mouth.
