Prosperity joined to good fortune

Achieving intimacy, upholding traditions

24. Bold in a swift, attacking mount
Like the master of space with a piercing spear

25. As if the heart of the foe is a bracelet
On the wrist of a spear with which he has stabbed

26. As if the hearts of the enemies are a place
For the teeth of his blade in which they have sunk

27. You give life, House of Mar’ab
Lions of grandeur on the day of battle

28. They are the victors, so leave off conquest
And leave behind both morning and evening quarrels

29. And the day at the fortress of Shabas
And the day at the castle, pledged to them

30. And the day at the Onta River which
Surpasses striking serpents in gathering and scattering

31. My brother, so let me, for them
Publicly compose the correct order

32. They who safeguard glories, perfection of beauty
And have paid the finest price to poetry

33. To you, Ali, my stand has appeared
As a maiden of praise with a beautiful face

34. To blow a kiss and kiss a hand
That surpasses clouds in its outpouring of favors

35. So take her with pardon—she has trilled
In the most wondrous harmony and captivating diction

36. Calling out: “Rejoice greatly!” to Mahlhal and Harith:
“My bosom friend, come back to the abode of beauty!”
