1. He who connects my fire without sin or fault
Will be connected to the fire of a generous, forgiving Lord

2. I am the warner to you all, openly from me
So I will not be blamed for my prohibition and warning

3. If you disobey my words today, then admit
That you will certainly face manifest, shameful disgrace

4. You will return with polished speeches
For He is the Everlasting, the Prevailing, the Ultimate

5. Whoever has an inner desire seeking it
I am for him a pledge with my plains

6. I will straighten his crookedness if he is crooked
As a bucket's handle is straightened at the wellspring

7. The companion of the lute cannot reach the end of time with me
Yet I can reach the end with my strings
