1. Travel, that you may gain all heights,
And let the soul have its fill of seeing,
١. سافِرْ تَنَلْ بالأسفارِ كُلَّ عُلا
وتَشْتَفِ النَّفسُ مِنْ مآرِبِها
2. Though there were no profit in travel
Save compliance with "Walk in the ways thereof."
٢. لَوْ لَمْ تَكُنْ في الأسفارِ فائِدَةٌ
إِلّا امْتِثالَ امْشُوا في مَناكِبِها
