1. I met them as strangers meet
Like locusts in scattered formation
١. وَلَقيتهُم لَقيَ الأَعا
جِمِ كَالجَرادِ المُرتَدِفِ
2. So I cut off their roots, and to cut
The root is to cut off the branch
٢. فَقَطَعت أَصلَهُم وَقَط
ع الأصل أقطع لِلطَّرفِ
