1. If speaking were permitted I would say
I have much though you see little

2. O poets, your brother
Did not comprehend your lofty position

3. Rhymes and meters were always
Obedient to me, their springs flowing

4. I am the brother of Al Warqa, my laments her laments
For her and I, spring has a long murmur

5. The greens of meadows befriend us at night
And their branches lean so we lean

6. I and the flowers are one household
He is a breeze in it and in me fervor

7. You were gracious to us in our youth with radiance
And blossomed upon us in old age, withering

8. I named the king of rivers in my mind
And roamed his horizons wandering

9. Hastening from him the crescent of Eid in
Its approach and for its like, hastening

10. Hello to the face of Eid, it comes with a name
An arrival like you, deserving the reception

11. If we could, our lips would kiss you
For the new moon her share is kissing

12. I send greetings to the sultan of the land
From his people, today you are the messenger

13. Informing him of our loyalty and prayers
And the generous heart is their proof

14. I beautify your glory above goals
Beyond them is likening and symbolizing

15. None of past kings can match
You, so let Ismail boast of his son

16. The loved ones and companions spend their night
Praying for you, so their night is chanting

17. The three scriptures succeed each other for them
Quran, Torah, and Bible

18. In every sanctuary a planet pleading
Its veil lifted from it

19. The angels compete in prayer
And their share with God is acceptance
