1. The mind roams the world of suffering
Guided by Oneness halfway through the journey

2. I yearn for this house of the asker
The boat of thought lost the coast

3. Then the Merciful brought a concealing servant
A symbol of Oneness to a seeing heart

4. Oneness is tested in you through action
Revealing a secret you had overlooked

5. Religion and wisdom shine through it
And the hands and tokens are seen through it

6. It was revealed perplexing the worlds
And revealed as deeds in lovers

7. The humble rise in its shade
And soil becomes shining goodness

8. Oneness hides a persevering servant
So the servant returns a different creation

9. He is diligent and assiduous in the Truth
His blood like lightning, aflame within

10. His doubt vanishes and action comes alive
His eye vigilantly works across the universe

11. If your step is steadfast in the station of servanthood
The jar of the asker becomes a filled cup

12. No god but the Spirit in our nation
No god but the melody in our tune

13. No god but the secret in our mysteries
No god but the authority of His thoughts

14. It became a heart if it contained them like a stone
Every heart not enlightened by it is ruined

15. The universe smolders from its exhalation
And the heart illuminates from its kindling

16. It flows as water in breasts
Melting the mirror's frost in passions

17. A flame in our spirit like torch flowers
All we sense from it is conflagration

18. The whiteness of Oneness, the blackness of humanity
So Abu Bakr is his brother and Umar

19. Nothing but the heart is nearness and remoteness
This cup in it stirred ecstasy

20. The oneness of the heart is the pillar of the nation
Sinai shone from the Owner of Majesty

21. He has guided the nation to the ways of action
This thought through it and hope

22. One tendency in its heart
So the criterion of good and evil is through it

23. Thought cannot excel on its zither
Without the fire of Truth in its strings

24. We in Islam are the children of Abraham
Take from your father evidence if you wish

25. Nations worshipped their homelands
And built lineage into their structure

26. Do you see homelands as the origin of peoples?
Worshipping the land like an idol

27. Lineages, their pride is foolishness
Its rule is in the body, and the body is evanescent

28. We implied in the Truth another lineage
It is in intellects implicitly understood

29. We have been freed from limits and shackles
Our hearts unseen as we are witnesses

30. We implied like flowers implicit order
A perception not seen by the perceiver

31. The Seer and thought are one for us
Like arrows gathered in a quiver

32. We are one thought, imagination and hope
One expectation and destination

33. We are a pact of brotherhood from His blessings
Our hearts, spirit, and words the same
