1. The Muslim does not care for this world
His heart dwells with truth and purity

2. A flower of radiance in a meadow
Untouched by sprouting thorns

3. A soul infused with magic
You see it aflame and glowing

4. The flower pities it, thinking
It is a planet left behind

5. Dew washes away its drowsiness
And sunlight enters it first

6. Had it not been for your strong grip
You'd see among people a lonely free soul

7. That One, with no partners
His servant refuses any equal to Him

8. The Muslim has risen above the celestial spheres
He accepts no blemish in the heavens

9. Take comfort and do not grieve in tribulation
You are the highest, the crown of distinction

10. He carries the two worlds lightly on his back
And contains land and sea within his chest

11. His ear attends to the rumbling thunder
His chest welcomes the flashing lightning

12. He battles falsehood and upholds the truth
His word distinguishes good and evil

13. In his core, every flame blazes
His essence contains the perfection of life

14. Among the clamor of nations
Only the call of the Muslim has melody

15. Noble is he in pardoning and generosity
Yet dignified when exerting might

16. His gentleness in gatherings mends the broken
His domination in war melts even stone

17. In the garden, he is the warble of the nightingale
In the waste, the swoop of the predator

18. His heart finds no rest under the heavens
He settles not, above flowers

19. A bird pecking the star of destiny
A bird beyond the celestial spheres

20. You, whose wings have never flown
A worm resting in the darkness of dirt

21. Poor soul complaining of the tyranny of time
You have attained humiliation by abandoning the Quran

22. The earth was purified like dew
When you held to the Living Book
