1. Endurance is the camel's pride
Patience is the camel's stately stride

2. Silent hooves tread steadily on
Like a boat gently gliding along

3. His feet etched the desert sands
Drowsing, eating little, he stands

4. Swaying under his load
Dancing, carrying halfway down the road

5. Of all riders, most patient is he
Pondering on, wandering free

6. Bear your burden staunch, fear no fall
Trust in Him who ordains all

7. Struggle to obey, O unfortunate one
Through destiny, choice will be won

8. By obeying command you will rise over low
Though desire burns hot as a glow

9. He hath harnessed the spheres to His will
He who shelters in shackles from His way still

10. The stars march on guided by laws
Made submissive to His mighty cause

11. The grasses grow by laws of growth
Else they wither, forsaken and loth

12. Love's flame forever burns in the heart's core
From that fount blood through veins will pour

13. Atoms are bound by laws of attraction
So sea and land merge in bonded interaction

14. In all things a mystery law flows
How then can unguided man suppose

15. Return, O free soul, to ancient trod
Adorn your legs with the graceful shackle of God
