1. If you dare the difficult, you lead the world,
With your command upon it as a ruler.

2. A sunrise on earth wherever the orbit revolves,
So you see the king who is immortalized for you.

3. The deputy of truth on earth, prosperous,
His rule in the universe, immortal, everlasting.

4. He is aware of the part and the whole,
And by God's command a leader on earth.

5. In the vast earth he travels folded,
His determination smoothes this worn carpet.

6. From his thoughts blossoms like flowers,
Other than this universe, other universes.

7. The idea ripens in us firmly,
It brings out the idols from the Sacred House.

8. The lute of the heart resonates from its plectrum,
Awakened by the truth from its slumber.

9. Inspiring in old age the tunes of youth,
Spreading in the universe the colors of youth.

10. He is to people both giver of good news and warner,
And he is soldier, shepherd, and prince.

11. The destination from the science of destiny is Him,
The secret of the Glorified One who ascended by night.

12. The presence from under whom is the edge of time,
When he seizes it by the rein.

13. He sends spirits with the word “Rise!”
While they are in their bodies like rubble.

14. His essence follows the essence of the world,
His supremacy is the world's salvation.

15. He resurrects the dead with the miracle of deed,
The values of deeds come from Him in exchange.

16. His conduct attends his first creation,
Like a Moses speaking on Mount Sinai.

17. He renews the world with a new interpretation,
Explains the vision with a new elucidation.

18. His essence is the hidden secrets of life,
A melody the flute of life implies.

19. The poet of instinct, his nature is rich,
To establish the rhythm when he created it.

20. We rose in revolt to the summit of the sky,
So the knight appeared from this haze.

21. In the ashes of today, dormant within us,
Is a flame he casts at the universe of tomorrow.

22. A garden implied in our sleeves,
Illuminated by the dawn of tomorrow in our sights.

23. You, O knight, are the edge of time,
You, O light, to the eye of the potential.

24. Procession of creation, decorate and empower
And settle the clamor of nations,

25. And fill the ears with the flower of melody.
Renew in people the law of brotherhood,

26. And make them drink a cup of love and purity.
Convey to the people messages of peace,

27. And restore on earth the days of harmony.
Of the children of mankind, you are the hope,

28. You are the destination of the journey of life.
The hand of autumn has withered the trees,

29. So come to the garden as a blossoming spring.
O brother of the rose, be a protective wall

30. And be the fence for the garden of flowers.
Human molded from your soil,

31. Then built a world by praying to You.
If you were lowly dust,

32. Then let others heed from you a lesson.
O you who cry out against the injustice of fate,

33. O glass that complains of the stone’s tyranny!
Why this wailing, what is the occasion for grief

34. And why is the breast bled with sorrow?
Implicit in the endeavor is the assuredness of life,

35. The pleasure of creation is the law of life.
Rise and build a peerless world,

36. Wade into the fire and advance like the Friend.
For the conduct upon the judgment of time

37. Is to cast the shield at the time of spears.
The free, courageous, and prudent man

38. Follows the footsteps of time upon him.
And if the world rebels against his affair,

39. He battles fate and does not care for it.
He demolishes the existent for what he preferred,

40. Grants the atoms another shape.
He diverts the days from their orbits,

41. Prevents the spheres from their rotations.
Creating from a power within his heart,

42. That is the age he accepts.
For when life is scarce for a man,

43. Death for the hero is the death of death.
Best is the passion for the noble affair,

44. And to pick in the fire a rose like the Friend.
In the firmness of dilemmas appears

45. A latent power within the hero.
The tools of villains are but malice,

46. Listen, O passionate one, to the law of life!
Life is truth whose might appears,

47. Implicit in it is the love of domination.
Much forgiveness was of its detriments,

48. Breaking the balanced of its verses.
Deeming resignation and humility to be contentment,

49. Submissive and obedient to the turns of fate.
Cutting off the paths of degraded life,

50. His heart hiding fear and lies.
His heart empty of all good,

51. Plunged in every wickedness and mischief.
In ambush this vile one lurks,

52. So beware, O sane one, of his adornment!
Beware, O passionate one, of his embellishment,

53. He is a spindle in his coloring.
He hides the truth from the discerning,

54. Masking it from them and concealing himself.
Sometimes appearing in soft clothes,

55. Sometimes feigning humility and modesty.
Sometimes wearing clothes of compulsion,

56. Sometimes behind the veil of destiny.
Sometimes in garb of luxury,

57. Wearing health the clothes of feebleness.
Nothing but power is the pillar of truth,

58. Know yourself, this is a full cup.
It is from the harvest of life what is obtained,

59. Explain the truth and falsehood through it.
Its claim dispenses with argument,

60. If the claimant challenges with might.
It makes falsehood into manifest truth,

61. And weakens truth to strengthen falsehood.
The tyranny of power adorns whatever it commands,

62. If evil is attributed to good, it becomes evil.
O you heedless of what you carry,

63. You are in both worlds of the highest station.
