1. I am meaning, present in my absence,
And my unveiling behind the veil's secrets.

2. I flow from letters when I appear,
And summarize expression in speech.

3. I weave my soul a scarf of clouds,
And from my soul I pour upon the clouds.

4. When my letters are gone I melt in them,
And silence encircles those who found the book.

5. If the question wanders lost, I fold within it
A question that reveals the secret of the answer.

6. I hang my imagination on his fingers
So he can grasp how close I draw in the distance.

7. I am love, made whole by it and in it,
When passion sees me I fold into it.

8. I shine from the depths of my songs
And cast myself upon the door of mist.

9. It's the love I strive for,
That strove for me when I unfurled my door.

10. With it, poems poured from my imagination
And the restless, roaring river grew still.

11. I obeyed the lines when they called me,
And they obeyed me in my sober draught.

12. It spoke to me and cast words in revelation
To trickle meaning from them like my dust.

13. I touched the rose, it shone from my yearning,
I called the sea, it lingered at my feet.

14. I folded the wind until song was complete,
As though the wind and secrets were my carpet.

15. I am meaning, my clarity scatters me,
And my absence unveils me in my absence.
