1. Tell the one named after the best of creation
Upon whom our Lord and the angels prayed

2. O beautiful sight and what lies beneath
In truth not in delusive facade

3. My soul protects you from the evils of one
Who seeks glory in every path tread

4. Hear my words with the ear of one
Who sees gifts as better than wealth owned

5. Who does not bite his fingers in regret
Nor sees a favor as something lost

6. Bestow upon me a robe
Everlasting as long as this orbit lasts

7. Wear it bearing its weight
While its beauty is yours

8. Armorm it protecting its fabric
And adorn it sharing the best company

9. Indeed Abul Qasim deserves
An intimate token of your bounty

10. You had set with it an appointment
And in delaying there is no attainment

11. The giver will not regret his grace
But the withholder will rue what he kept

12. He who thought to cloak himself
Then his honor redeemed it though violated

13. It was exposed and a garb protected
Tempting the glances until it was torn
