1. Blessings have been bestowed and serenity endures
And calamities that destroy have protected you

2. O son of the one whose command is sublime and whom
Rulers of dynasties and caliphs have honored

3. No remedy has purified your body
Except purity as purity itself can be

4. So for your enemies there is ugliness in it
While for you there is benefit, healing, and restoration

5. I have omitted praise of you if it hasn't shown
In secret, and does praise hide at dawn?

6. So wear forgiveness and pardoning as a garment
And over those who hate you let that be a cloak

7. And may God protect you from what
You fear, in an existence where the soul finds contentment

8. May your refuge be the Sacred House on hajj, your face a sun
Your right hand holds the scales, dispensing justice
