1. I drank wine at ease,
And did not lean towards urging the cupbearer,

2. Life of the soul shining through it,
And health of the frail body from it.

3. If worries kindle a fire within you,
Then pour on it some wine.

4. No medicine can treat your pain better than it,
Or extinguish the fires of worries.
