1. The misfortunes did not afflict you, O son of Harith,
Nor did imminent death befall you.

2. By my life, Hatim is not with blames,
Were it not for defamation and insult.

3. You are an old man whose generosity is animalistic,
Since their gifts are inanimate cast iron.

4. O weak-minded one with a thousand horns on his head,
All of which are thick and bulky.

5. O lad, when he wears fancy clothes
While he is penniless underneath.

6. There have been women in his lap
Since his breasts swelled during puberty.

7. He lusted for his sister, and replied, saying:
"She is just a slipper, and polytheism is its right."

8. God granted the Sheikh the polytheism of polytheism,
And that creed remained unchallenged.

9. This is how men expose themselves, by my life,
And this is how the vile fool dreams.

10. She blamed him, but he justified himself,
And excused him in the like of her, something unimaginable.

"You deserve a slap, lighter than a flick."

12. "She is a sister, so who enticed you to the wedding?"
Tell us, O fat and plump rooster.

13. Sell your hens, for you have no need of them,
Only a rooster acquires hens.

Forcefully, without any formal transfer of ownership.

17. To cool down your arousal, that they
Carried her above their necks while you are the king.

18. And to soothe your fervor when they
Castrated them, by plucking their testicles.

19. We believed you about your hens, O Sheikh,
So as not to provoke your doubt.

20. Every day she has a wedding with someone other than you,
You get from it blessings and congratulations.

21. Why do you want her to abstain from her desires,
A lifeless, apathetic, foolish mind?

22. And horns that walk in their thickness
Clumsily, with a heavy gait.

23. She is busy with her own affairs, while you are
Unique in your disgrace, your massage is kneading.

24. O heavy-horned, O mountainous bald man,
Does this movement not provoke you?
